FAQ Around COVID-19

Are you accepting clients?

Absolutely! If you would like to book, please feel free to contact me!

What changes have you made?

Re-opening my services has involved a lot of changes including a new wardrobe, additional cleaning measures and more. If you would like to review all precautions I am taking please read my blog, "What to Expect at Your Makeup Artist Appointment - COVID-19 Edition."

I am not able to have my wedding on my planned date, what are the next steps with my Makeup Artist?

I will do my best to accommodate those who choose to reschedule their wedding. I cannot promise I will be available for the new date but I am happy to assist in finding a new artist.

I require clients to pay a $100 retainer to secure a wedding date. This is non-refundable and will not be refunded in the case of cancellation due to date change. This fee is paid to cover admin fees associated with booking and consultations. If any amount in addition to the $100 retainer is paid prior to the wedding, this will be refunded if the wedding was rescheduled due to COVID-19 and Face Treat can no longer provide the service.

If you have a booking and need to reschedule, please contact me so we can work together to figure this out!

I am still having a small, physically distanced wedding. What now?

Some clients have let me know that they will still be moving forward with a small wedding while following the gathering limitations and physical distancing protocols. For couples who have decided to do this, and would still like to have their makeup done I would absolutely love to still be a part of your big day.

I want to cancel my makeup services, how can I do that?

I am so sad that you have to cancel, however, I do understand. The contract each client signs outlines my cancellation policy as follows: Should you need to cancel your service, you must do so 30 days before the reserved date or the signee will be held responsible for paying the full amount owed.

If you need to cancel your wedding due to COVID-19, I do understand and will not require you to pay the full wedding balance if canceled within 30 days of the wedding date.

Clients are also required to pay a non-refundable retainer upon booking. This is non-refundable and will not be refunded if you need to cancel. That being said, this retainer will be given as a credit towards future wedding services if you choose to reschedule.
