FAQ Around COVID-19

Are you accepting clients?

Absolutely! If you would like to book, please feel free to contact me!

What changes have you made?

Re-opening my services has involved a lot of changes including a new wardrobe, additional cleaning measures and more. If you would like to review all precautions I am taking please read my blog, "What to Expect at Your Makeup Artist Appointment - COVID-19 Edition."

I am not able to have my wedding on my planned date, what are the next steps with my Makeup Artist?

In order to do my best to accommodate all couples who have decided to postpone their wedding to next year (2021), I have put a hold on booking new clients until June 1st, 2020. This is in hopes that those who have decided to postpone are able to still book with me for their wedding day! In order to keep things fair, I will be following the same process as your first time booking. Once you have decided on a new date, I will require you to sign a new contract. Only once this is submitted will your new date be secure.

If you have not yet done so, please contact me to update me so we can work together to figure this out!

I am rescheduling my wedding, but you aren't available for my new date!

This is definitely a possibility. In this scenario, you will have the option to be refunded your 50% retainer, OR save it for future services. I can also connect you with another artist in my network. Don't worry I only recommend the best!

I am still having a small, physically distanced wedding. What now?

Some clients have let me know that they will still be moving forward with a small wedding while following the gathering limitations and physical distancing protocols. For couples who have decided to do this, and would still like to have their makeup done I would absolutely love to still be a part of your big day IF the restrictions for personal service businesses have been lifted.

Are you booking weddings for 2021 yet?

Yes! If you have a wedding coming up, please visit my bridal page to check out my services and pricing. If you have any questions or would like to book, you can fill out the form at the bottom of my bridal page!

I want to cancel my makeup services, how can I do that?

I am so sad that you have to cancel, however, I do understand. The contract each client signs outlines my cancellation policy as follows: Should you need to cancel your service, you must do so 30 days before the reserved date or the signee will be held responsible for paying the full amount owed.

I understand that this is a unique situation so clients are not required to pay the full amount if they cancel within 30 days.

Clients are also required to pay a non-refundable retainer upon booking. That being said, this retainer will be given as a credit towards future services or if you would like a refund, I have established a refund policy specifically for this situation. All refunds for services cancelled due to COVID-19 will be issued in the month of the original service date. This allows me (FaceTreat) to issue refunds in phases, lessening the financial stress on my business. If you have any questions or concerns with this, please feel free to contact me. If you are still going forward with a small wedding without a makeup artist, the credit can be used towards any other services or we can arrange for it to be gifted.
